本校にはネイティブの先生が主導し進めていくGCPというプログラムがあります。
GCP（Global Competence Program）とは、国際的な能力や資質を育成するためのプログラムです。このプログラムでは、英語のスキルだけでなく、グローバルな視点やコミュニケーション能力を培います。生徒たちは、ポジティブな心構えを育み、チームでの挑戦や異文化体験を通じてリーダーシップや協創力を磨いていきます。

The Global Competence Program is a special class designed to help students develop the skills needed to succeed in a global society.  The class focuses on building communication ability, critical thinking, ciultural understanding and leadership through interactive, student-centered learning.  The class prepares students to become active global citizens who can contribute positively to society.

今回は、その中の”Future Technology Project”の展示の様子をご紹介します。以下、ご担当のアマンダ先生のコメントです。

In GCP class, we talked about our hopes and fears about the future. Groups selected an issue that is important to them and used their imagination to brainstorm future technology ideas that help with that issue.  Please check out the posters which show many interesting perspectives on future technology possibilities!
生徒たちは授業内で未来についての希望や不安をまず話し合いました。そしてその中から大切だと思う問題を選び、その問題を助ける未来のテクノロジーのアイディアを想像力を使って考えました。未来のテクノロジーのさまざまな考え方が見られるポスターの展示を見てください！

未来にこんなテクノロジーがあればいいなあ、と思うと同時に、こんな授業があったらよかったなあ・・・と羨ましく思うのでした。
